Kaziranga National Park, located in Assam, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of India’s premier wildlife sanctuaries. Known primarily for its population of the one-horned rhinoceros, Kaziranga also boasts a rich diversity of wildlife, including elephants, Bengal tigers, wild water buffalo, and numerous bird species. The park’s sprawling grasslands, wetlands, and forests make it a picturesque setting for safaris. Visitors can explore Kaziranga by jeep or on elephant-back, experiencing close encounters with wildlife in their natural habitat. The park plays a vital role in conservation and offers a unique glimpse into India’s incredible biodiversity.
Not only that, we explore the famous tea gardens of Assam and visit a heritage village nearby which shows the different lifestyles of a large number of tribes in the region.

Land in Guwahati, check in to a homestay/hotel and treat yourself to a sumptuous Assamese thali. The evening is free to explore. You can choose to take a walk on the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra go or for a short river cruise and cruise dinner or walk around in the city.
Start early from Guwahati and head towards the Kaziranga National Park. Drive through vast plains and numerous Assamese towns and villages on your way. Take breaks for photography. Head out for Kaziranga Jungle Safari in the Central Range, Kohora.
You are sure to be overwhelmed after coming face to face with the iconic one-horned rhinos, and the pride of Assam, among many other inhabitants of the jungle while enjoying your Kaziranga Jeep Safari. After the safari, head out to the Kaziranga Orchid Park nearby, to learn more about the colourful culture of the region, taste some authentic Assamese cuisine and not to forget, explore many species of orchids.
*If you visit the Kaziranga Orchid Park in the evening, you will also get to experience cultural performances that happen every evening.
Wake up early to head out for yet another Jungle safari in the Kaziranga National Park. This time, getting a chance to see the wildlife from much closer. After your Safari, have your lunch and start for Guwahati to catch your flight back home.
