Daywise Itinerary

Start early from Guwahati and drive to Gangtok (550 km, ~12–14 hours).

Activities: Rest upon arrival. Explore MG Marg in the evening for shopping and local food.

Stay: Overnight in Gangtok.

  • Tashi Viewpoint: For stunning views of Kanchenjunga.
  • Enchey Monastery: A serene Buddhist monastery.
  • Namgyal Institute of Tibetology: Learn about Tibetan culture and history.

Stay: Overnight in Gangtok.

Travel: Drive to Tsomgo Lake (38 km, ~1.5 hours) and Nathula Pass (Indo-China border, 14 km from Tsomgo).

Activities:

  • Enjoy the scenic beauty of Tsomgo Lake.
  • Visit Nathula Pass (requires permits, which can be arranged through your hotel or travel agent).

Stay: Return to Gangtok for overnight stay.

Travel: Drive to Lachen (120 km, ~6 hours).

Stay: Overnight in Lachen.

Travel: Early morning drive to Gurudongmar Lake (one of the highest lakes in the world, ~40 km from Lachen).

Activities:

  • Visit Gurudongmar Lake (altitude: 17,800 ft) and enjoy its breathtaking beauty.
  • Drive to Lachung (50 km, ~2 hours).

Stay: Overnight in Lachung.

Travel: Drive to Yumthang Valley (25 km, ~1.5 hours), known as the "Valley of Flowers."

  • Return to Gangtok (150 km, ~6–7 hours).

**Additional Tips**

  • Permits: Nathula Pass and Gurudongmar Lake require permits. Arrange these through your hotel or a travel agent in Gangtok.
  • Road Conditions: Roads are generally good, but some stretches in North Sikkim can be rough.
  • Accommodation: Book hotels in advance, especially in Lachen and Lachung.

  • 100% refund of the tour cost if cancellations are made 30 days before the date of travel.
  • 50% refund of the tour cost if cancellations are made 15 days before the date of travel.
  • 25% refund of the tour cost if cancellations are made 7 days before the date of travel.
  • No refund of the tour cost if cancellations are made within 7 days of the travel date.

Refund Policy

The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.
